Adecco US, Inc. Assistant Construction Project Manager in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Construction Project Manager to support our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, from project coordination and documentation to procurement and safety compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 1-3 years of construction experience (internships or assistant roles considered)

  • Previous experience as a construction project coordinator or assistant

  • Familiarity with construction processes, terminology, and safety regulations

  • Basic knowledge of construction project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a team and take direction

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • OSHA or other safety certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project timelines.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs.

  • Prepare status reports, meeting notes, and other project-related documents.

  • Procurement & Materials Management:

  • Assist in ordering materials and equipment.

  • Monitor inventory and track material usage.

  • Budget & Cost Tracking:

  • Help track project budgets and prepare cost estimates.

  • Assist with invoice processing and budget reconciliation.

  • Site Support & Safety Compliance:

  • Support site visits to monitor project progress and ensure safety compliance.

  • Quality Control:

  • Assist in quality control inspections and issue resolution.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
