Akima Work Control Planner IV in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

AIS is looking for a Work Control Planner IV to work in in Oak Ridge, TN. Under moderate supervision, serves as an experienced Work Control Planner in all conventional aspects of the subject matter or the functional area of assignment. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work package.

  • Participates in effective - results driven planning meetings.

  • Prepares and tracks work order development in support of assigned field activities.

  • Reviews and analyzes work documents for proper classification, priority, and description.

  • Prepares work documents, authorizing maintenance and calibration.

  • Assists in prioritizing estimates and establishing man hours needed for work package development.

  • Completes work assignments with a high level of quality and personal accountability, displaying strong skills in building relationships, communication and motivating others to work together.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Eight years directly related experience required.

  • Experience with type I work planning required.

  • Some experience with procedure writing required.

  • Ability to obtain DOE Q.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with established policies, methods, and practices of the Company strongly desired.

  • Ability to meet all physical requirements.
