Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Staff Accountant in Oak Ridge, TN.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

• Verify that transactions are recorded correctly.

• Enter data, maintain records, launch reports and financial statements.

• Process accounts receivable/payable.

• Payroll.

• Customer service.

• Filing.

• Monthly reconciliations.

• Multi state Sales Tax Returns

• Quarterly Payroll Tax Returns

• Process annual city/ county business tax returns

Requirements

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration- preferred

• Proven bookkeeping experience.

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

• Proficient in advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

• Ability to communicate complex data in a clear way.

• Exceptional organization skills.

• The ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.

• Excellent data entry skills.

• Must be resourceful and able to work independently with little supervision.

• Professional both in appearance and in communication.

• Payroll processing experience.
