Consolidated Nuclear Security LLC Photographer in Oak Ridge, Tennessee
Operate as an industrial photographer and videographer as part of a multidiscipline team.
Complete assignments on time according to specifications and deadlines. The position requires a high degree of flexibility to meet schedules and diverse assignments in a large industrial setting. Requires occasional after hours and weekend work.
Interface with customers across the site and with other communications functions across the DOE complex.
Use a variety of digital cameras to cover technical and non-technical assignments in various locations, hazardous atmospheres, and in proximity to hazardous materials. Assignments include, but are not limited to, machining operations, forming operations, technical development work at laboratory bench setups, experimental processes, and production operations in manufacturing; less frequently may include ceremonies, photojournalistic events, and award presentations.
Process media using Adobe Creative Suite software on a PC workstation, using conventional and digital file transfer and manipulation for output to various devices.
Process images and videos for specialized publications.

Minimum Job Requirements
Technician: Associate degree in related discipline.
Production Maintenance and Security: High school diploma: No experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
Prefer a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or military photography or videography using a variety of cameras, single and multiple light sources, and lenses.
Mastery level of Adobe Creative Suite photo and video editing software is highly desirable. Candidates may submit a digital portfolio, demonstrating a variety of work, via a website link or CD/DVD media.
A highly developed and demonstrable ability with photographic hardware is also preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with limited supervision.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
