The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems and ensuring the integration of operational technology (OT) within the site infrastructure. The role focuses on improving system efficiency, reliability, and safety through automation and OT management.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Automation System Design and Implementation
Design and develop automation solutions to optimize production and facility operations.
Implement and program control systems to automate processes.
Integrate automation systems with existing IT/OT infrastructure.
Execute CSV protocols and ensure data integrity and quality.
Operational Technology Management
Ensure OT systems are reliable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
Collaborate with Tech to ensure seamless integration between IT and OT systems.
System Monitoring and Maintenance
Monitor the performance of automation and OT systems to ensure optimal operation.
Perform regular maintenance updates, and support trouble shooting automation and OT equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Project Management
Lead and manage automation and OT projects through completion.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Safety Compliance
Ensure all automation and OT systems comply with safety regulations and standards.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Training and Support
Provide training and support to staff on the use and maintenance of automation and OT systems.
Develop and maintain documentation, including operation manuals and technical guides.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, automation, mechatronics or a related field
2+ years experience in automation engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Knowledge of OT integration
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Strong Project Management and organizational skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and technologies
Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial network protocols.

The salary range for this role is: $ 80,671 to $121,007 annually
