Description

Robert Half is working with a large healthcare client to add a Senior Accountant to the team on a contract to hire basis. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing accounting information, and ensuring financial compliance within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial statements

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to guarantee accurate documentation and rectification of any discrepancies

• Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accounted for and properly recorded

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of posted financial information

• Prepare and record journal entries as part of the organization's accounting procedures

• Utilize Microsoft Excel in processing and analyzing financial data

• Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial information is recorded within the set deadline

• Use NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage and process financial data effectively

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience with account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in handling general ledger tasks and journal entries.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with month-end close procedures.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Proven attention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry is a plus.

• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
