ThermoAnalytics Director of Marketing in Novi, Michigan

ThermoAnalytics, Inc. (TAI), a leading provider of thermal and infrared simulation software and services, seeks a strategically-focused Director of Marketing to join our Sales and Marketing team in either Novi, Michigan or Calumet, Michigan. This full-time role offers a flexible start date, ideally between October and December 2024. While the position is primarily in-office, we are open to considering hybrid remote arrangements for those in close proximity to Novi or Calumet.

As a leader in this role, you'll drive and oversee strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring the development and execution of effective plans. Your forward-thinking leadership will be crucial in elevating brand presence, generating leads, and enhancing customer engagement. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with the executive team to align marketing strategies with the company's overall business goals.

  • $115,000 -- $135,000 annual starting salary based on your knowledge and relevant experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

Lead Strategic Marketing Initiatives

  • Strategic Planning. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on brand positioning, market penetration, and customer acquisition.
  • Brand Management. Strengthen and manage the brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Digital Marketing. Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content strategy.
  • Product Marketing. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches and features, including messaging and sales enablement tools.
  • Lead Generation. Design and implement campaigns to attract and convert high-quality leads.
  • Content Development. Direct the creation of content that supports lead generation and thought leadership.
  • Market Research. Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Visionary Leadership

  • Team Leadership. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Budget Management. Develop/manage the marketing budget to ensure effective resource allocation and maximum ROI.
  • Partnerships & Events. Identify and support strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and industry events to enhance market presence and generate business opportunities.

Collaborate with Executive Team

  • Analytics & Reporting. Establish KPIs for marketing activities, provide performance reports, and use data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
  • Product Marketing. Work with product management and engineering teams to align marketing strategies with product development.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a technology or software company.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.

Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.

Experience with product marketing, particularly in launching and positioning software products.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
