Lewis Landscapes, Inc., 10 Oak Street, Norwood, NJ 07648, Phone Number: 201-750-9366. Travel will be required. Daily transportation will be provided from a central location to and from worksites in the following counties: Bergen (NJ).

2 Landscape Laborer positions available. Temporary, full-time position from 04/01/2025 through 12/19/2025, 7:30am-4:30pm, 35 hrs/week, 7-hour workday. Monday-Friday. Workers will be paid weekly at $21.87/hr. 5 hours of overtime hours possible. OT Wage: $32.81/hr. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the companys sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. The worker will not supervise other workers.

Load, unload, operate and use tools, equipment, and materials. Perform property maintenance tasks including mowing with power lawn mowers, moving and installing plants and plant beds with shovels and rakes, blowing with backpack blowers, raking with rakes, weeding manually and with weed whackers, pruning with manual and mechanical pruners, digging with shovels, lifting and moving plants and materials with shovels and wheelbarrows, hardscaping using pickaxes and shovels to create retaining walls, patios, dry riverbeds, land grading with shovels and grading, and installing mulch using shovels and wheelbarrows.

No minimum education required. 3 months experience required. Other requirements: Post employment drug testing based on employers reasonable suspicion of drug use.

On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the companys sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $15.88/day during travel to a maximum of $59/day with receipts. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of total employment period.
