Cramer is looking for a Senior Strategist.

At Cramer, Strategy stays grounded in the audience to unlock new perspectives and possibilities for our clients. From experiential activations and thought leadership events, to integrated brand experience campaigns. As a Senior Strategist, you will work within a team that’s committed to uncovering audience truths and insights that drive our strategies, creative approaches, and experiential plans.

You will be expected to be able to deeply understand audiences and market categories, create experience personas, find and articulate a brand’s differentiators in interesting ways, inspire big ideas, and understand the brand experience landscape to plan integrated experiential campaigns effectively. Most importantly, you’ll be expected to bring a passion and desire to learn, have fun and make an impact for our agency and clients.

The Senior Strategist teams up with the VP of Strategy – as well as Account Managers, Creative Directors, Content Managers and Project Managers – to uncover opportunities and develop effective plans that deliver on our clients’ goals. You will report directly to the VP of Strategy.

This roles requires a minimum of 3 days/week in office in Norwood, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with account, creative and project management teams regularly to drive the most impactful work for our clients. We don’t work in siloes.

  • Craft compelling, insight-driven findings that provide a new perspective and opportunities for our clients

  • Understand how to conduct research and use agency tools to understand audiences and help solve clients’ marketing challenges.

  • Concisely craft briefs that inspire impactful creative work

  • Serve as a bridge between creative and execution teams, making insightful recommendations for how we can leverage different channels or tactics to reach audiences and reach desired client outcomes - you are the voice of strategy and the audience throughout the project engagement

  • Develop measurement plans and deliver reporting

  • Effectively manage your workload and deliver strong strategic thinking across multiple exciting brands and projects at one time.

  • Create client alignment through workshop facilitation, stakeholder interviews, or other tools/presentations that bring multiple perspectives together.

  • Look for opportunities to expand your skillset as a Strategist and as a leader within your project and client teams.

  • Support ongoing client and agency needs (such as brand planning, QBR presentations, new business pitches, trend monitoring, through leadership contribution, etc.)

  • This position requires intermittent travel.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in an agency, with at least 3 years in strategy specifically

  • Passion for experiential marketing (events, activations, pop-up shops, etc.)

  • Exceptional writing skills.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to keep and meet client deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills

  • Resourceful and collaborative, at all costs
