Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manages an operation, business unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.

  • Guides, coaches and develops salaried front-line leaders and hourly employees.

  • Serves as a best practice/quality resource; develops specialized knowledge in their discipline. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.

  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how their departments integrate with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

  • Uses judgement to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing technology or engineering. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Partners cross-functionally with internal and external resources to assist in decision-making.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues, leading by example and extending knowledge/expertise to aid in their development and growth. Leads small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information in a meaningful way, working to build consensus, developing persuasion skills required to influence others on business topics within field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years’ experience in Manufacturing)

  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience

The base pay range for this position is $110,100 - $125,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on December 2, 2024.
