Adient US LLC Sr. Financial Analyst in Northwood, Ohio

JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for: daily accounting, balance sheet management, executing on financial commitments, ensuring accounting compliance, partnering with plant personnel, and ability to lead the department in Plant Controller's absence. Job Responsibilities: The Sr Financial Analyst Maintains accurate balance sheet accounts and corresponding reconciliations. Conducts regular reviews to ensure accuracy. Ensures Month end process is accurate and executed according to timeline. Supports P&L improvements. Identifies and supports cost improvements and program profitability activities. Maintains a robust internal control environment aligned to the company Business Operating System and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Responsible for coordinating with plant finance team. Responsible for ensuring team is properly trained. Supports all compliance, internal and external audit activities. Manage the development of cost standards and expense budgets to establish acceptable bases for measuring product cost, expense control and plant performance. Prepares and supports Capital Appropriation Requests including financial justification in accordance with company guidelines. Partners with the Commercial team on Pricing and Commercial issues. Perform additional related duties and analysis as directed by Plant Controller and/or Plant Manager Sr Financial Analyst Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. 3-5 years of finance and accounting experience, manufacturing experience is a plus. Automotive experience is preferred. Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Experience with financial systems required. MFGPro/SAP/Hyperion applications preferred. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings by verbal or presentation format. Strong organization skills with follow-through and a focus on "the details". Familiarity with Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Demonstrated ability to manage complex or ambiguous situations; ability to work under deadlines. A history of success working toward deadlines. The ability to build partnerships with plant functional areas.
