Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Associate to provide direct support to our Marketing Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, along with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills. This role involves supporting the marketing team in executing various marketing campaigns, conducting research, and managing digital marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Marketing Campaigns:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Coordinate with team members and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials.
- Organize and manage trade show logistics.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage and update company social media profiles (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) with relevant content.
- Assist with maintaining the company websites.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to content marketing efforts, including writing blog posts, articles, and other marketing materials.
- Market Research:
- Follow market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitors.
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to inform marketing strategies.
- Communication:
- Draft, edit, and proofread marketing materials to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Communicate effectively with sales and marketing team members, management, and external partners.
- Organizational Support:
- Maintain marketing calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
- Organize and maintain marketing databases and files.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
- Collaboration:
- Work independently and collaboratively with the marketing and sales team to achieve common goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Good research skills with the ability to gather data from various sources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Some travel required.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, or Mailchimp).
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SEO.
