*Duties and Responsibilities: *
Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager.
- Regularly assist Brine Room Operator.
- Must be able to follow mixing instructions, written or verbal.
- Must be able to regularly lift bags weighing up to 50lbs, and occasionally move containers weighing up to 250lbs with assistance.
- Must be able to run salt brines independently.
- Must be able to communicate mixing changes, problems, and mixing status of tanks in use at shift change.
- Must be able to maintain a continuous and proper flow of salt brines.
- Responsible for shutting lines down and notifying proper people if an error is made or discovered.
- Scan all ingredients. Complete daily documentation accurately.
- Follow all GMP's associated with this position.
- Must know and understand all CCPs for this position.
- Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating and helping co-workers.
- Complete required annual training and testing.
- Learn additional production jobs and fill in as needed. May occasionally fill in other production jobs.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Please Note: If hired you will need to train on 1st shift (7am-3pm) for up to 2 weeks with a trainer.
