Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Business Partner in Northridge, California

Description

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be a key player responsible for executing HR initiatives aimed at creating a positive impact on our employees and overall business outcomes. This dynamic, results-driven professional will be responsible for planning and coordinating with various HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to execute programs related to talent acquisition, culture transformation, inclusion, diversity and equity (ID& E), performance management, leadership development, employee relations, compensation, and organizational effectiveness. Reporting directly to a senior HR director, you will provide hands-on tactical support to various departments including Field Sales, IT, Medical Affairs, and Marketing. As the go-to person for day-to-day inquiries regarding HR, you'll also prepare leaders for key discussions and HR deliveries.

Our work model does require your physical presence at our Northridge, California location for three days each week. This onsite involvement is necessary for encouraging collaboration and maintaining a connection with our team and work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with HR Business Partners and HR COEs to offer high-impact HR solutions

  • Supporting critical HR processes, including workforce planning, compensation reviews, and performance management

  • Guiding organizational change initiatives • Assisting leaders and the Talent Acquisition COE in identifying and staffing key roles

  • Collaborating with the Employee Relations COE to anticipate, identify, and resolve employee relations issues

  • Championing ID& E efforts alongside HR and leadership to develop and implement initiatives

  • Utilizing HR data to recognize organizational trends and enabling appropriate actions.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience (or an advanced degree coupled with 5+ years of experience)

  • Experience in HR roles within large, globally matrixed, Fortune 500 companies.

  • Track record of successfully implementing HR programs in fast-paced, global businesses, ideally within industries like Medical devices, Technology, Healthcare, or Consumer Products.

  • Proficient in HRIS software (Workday) and the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Competence in HR analytics and data-driven decision making.

  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in career progression, along with strong coaching, consulting, and facilitation skills.
