Your New Role

As a Hospitalist with our team, you’ll:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care during overnight shifts.

  • Be part of a collegial and supportive group of hospitalists, working together to provide excellent care.

  • Work at a single hospital location, Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a well-regarded 424-bed acute care facility.

  • Manage a 7 on, 7 off schedule (183 annual shifts) with a 7am-7pm shift schedule.

  • Benefit from a closed ICU, ensuring a focused and manageable scope of practice.

  • Have access to ongoing professional development within an established and respected multispecialty group.

Phenomenal Compensation Package

  • Highly competitive compensation and benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and malpractice insurance.

  • Salary Guarantee: $295,000 - $315,000 DOE

  • Bonus and incentive opportunities to reward your dedication and contributions.

  • Signing incentives up to $40,000 and relocation assistance up to $20,000 to make your transition smooth.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.

  • Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.

  • Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

  • Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

  • Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.

  • Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.

  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license

  • Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)

  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Pay Range

$141.82 - $151.44 /hour
