Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist: 2024-2025 School Year

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a large elementary school in Northlake, IL. You’ll be one of three SLPs in the building, focusing on students within the Early Childhood (EC) program who have higher needs (non-verbal, Autism, etc.). This role will closely mimic a co-teaching model with the classroom teacher.
This Early Childhood Center offers a preschool program with both AM and PM sessions. The classes are very neurodiverse, including blended classrooms. Join us in making a difference in the lives of students!

Compensation: Full Salary paid weekly: $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience
Location: Northlake, IL 60164
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-3:45pm (45 min lunch)

Speech-Language Pathologist Duties:
Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs
Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements:
Master’s degree in Communication Disorders
IDFPR license eligible in the state of Illinois
Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
