Robert Half is supporting a growing company in need or a Buyer for a long-term contract role in Northern Kentucky. Please apply right away to be considered as interviews are expected to begin within the next week.

Join our Procurement team to support day-to-day purchasing, supplier management, and inventory operations. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in procurement, collaboration with internal teams as well as external partners, and opportunities to drive cost and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing RFPs/RFQs and analyzing supplier proposals.

• Research new suppliers and evaluate their fit for company needs.

• Support supplier performance reviews and identify improvement opportunities.

• Conduct basic spend and inventory analysis to optimize operations.

• Monitor purchase orders and ensure on-time material delivery.

• Draft and review supplier contracts with team guidance.

• Stay updated on market trends to support procurement strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) OR equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

• Basic knowledge of procurement concepts and proficiency in MS Office.

• Eagerness to learn, solve problems, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Buyer role or similar position

• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

• Familiarity with different ERP Solutions

• Understanding and experience with Accounting Functions

• Knowledge and experience of Buying Processes

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in ERP software

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
