Position Snapshot
Business area: Nestle Canada Inc.
Location: North York, ON located at 25 Sheppard Ave W, North York, ON M2N 6S8; Hybrid
What to Expect:
As a member of the Zone North America Total Rewards Center of Competence (CoC) team, this role provides guidance and support to drive Total Rewards programs and processes across the zone, with a focus on Canada and compensation practices. You will actively contribute to developing and implementing a comprehensive Total Rewards Strategy aligned with Corporate/Zone and Market priorities. Working closely with the Total Rewards team, you will co-lead Total Rewards Committees, drive the annual compensation process, conduct external benchmarking and competitiveness analysis, perform job analysis/evaluations, and provide strategic insights on salary data trends.
A day in the life:
Provide feedback and consultation for crafting and implementing a local Total Rewards Strategy
Plan and implement annual compensation processes (Salary Review, Short-Term Bonus, LTIs)
Conduct external benchmarking and competitiveness analysis
Analyze external salary data and provide management with market overview and trends
Develop pay structures and conduct market pricings
Perform compensation competitiveness analysis
Provide support for market data analysis and benchmarking for Benefits
Conduct job analysis and job evaluation following methodology in place
Contribute to grading projects and streamline evaluation process
Promote global and Zone Rewards projects and identify efficiency opportunities
Ensure compliance in compensation area
Develop and deliver Total Rewards training programs
Ensure clear and consistent communication and act as a functional expert for HR team members
Role Requirements
University Degree level education or equivalent
Proven experience in Total Rewards/Compensation either in a large corporation with progressive people practices and/or a consulting company
Experience with KPIs (Creation and use of metrics)
Experience in Employee Cost Management / Budgeting
Advanced Use of Microsoft Excel
Preferred Skills
Local employment law & labor regulations
Experience of SAP HR, SF, and of working in the FMCG sector
