Acara Solutions seeks a highly qualified Commercial Accounts Manager to join our clients Sales team in North Tonawanda, NY.
JOB SUMMARY
- Performs essential duties in the Sales department, including but not limited to technical and commercial quotation development, product costing and pricing, contract administration, sales order execution, customer liaison and order follow-up, production planning and support, customer shipment execution, accounts receivable follow-up, and documentation creation and submittals. This role may focus on commercial, Navy, or both sectors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete the technical and commercial aspects of the quotation process in accordance with company procedures and industry norms.
- Create costing and pricing standards, incorporating them into quotations along with delivery commitments consistent with product planning and capacity.
- Perform the complete sales order entry process and review orders upon receipt. Compile and review all data and information required for order booking and fulfillment.
- Track sales orders throughout the approval process to ensure timely processing. Facilitate customer order fulfillment by providing internal departments with relevant delivery, shipping, transportation, pricing, and payment information.
- Actively participate in engineering and sales continuous improvement processes, integrating them with Operations' continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proactively contribute to business development initiatives.
- Work with order engineering and order entry to create BOMs, drawings, change orders, job routings, and customer contract data submittals.
- Develop strong functional proficiency in the ERP system.
- Assist the Accounts Receivable department with payment collections and resolving payment issues.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $60-80+k DOE - DIRECT HIRE w/benefits.
Hours: 40hrs/week, 1st shift, would consider 1xday remote once trained. 8am-4:30pm(flex)
