Job Summary

The position of JADAK Manufacturing and Quality Engineer is a specialized technical position with many challenges. We are seeking a motivated individual who can identify opportunities and efficiently implement changes, with a primary bias toward improving product and process Quality. You will also serve as the primary driver of the Quality performance of the Suppliers supporting the designated manufacturing area.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist and/or own failure root cause analysis and corrective actions tied to quality issues identified in/ originating from the supported area.
  • Creating forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data
  • Testing and assessing the effectiveness, accuracy, or safety of new products
  • Communicate with suppliers, factories, and management teams through Daily Management, emphasizing being closer to the Gemba.
  • Verifying the accuracy or performance of the product and troubleshooting any problems or issues
  • Work with all levels of the operation to nurture a culture of Lean thinking & continuous improvement by providing a high level of support (collaborative problem-solving) for the ideas and pain points of the team
  • Lead/support change management initiatives affecting the manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably mechanical or manufacturing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Able to work independently, self-directed, and solutions oriented.
  • Sound organizational and planning skills with a solid attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (through all org levels)
  • Capable of reading schematics & drawings, GD&T

Compensation and Benefits

  • The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000 to $96,000 per year depending on the geographic region.
  • Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
