Job Summary

The intern works on IDE for embedded devices. They contribute to generative AI for customer support. Additionally, they assist in testing scripts developed on spectroradiometer products and prototypes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the team to verify and validate new products
• Contributing to projects ranging from application development to performance verification
• Developing new functionality, optimizing and debugging code, and gaining invaluable practical real-world experience
• Conducting research and analysis to support software development, including code reviews and testing
• Conducting testing and analysis, and documenting and reporting on results. Working to improve testing processes and procedures.
• Mathematical modelling may be included such as numerical integration. Test scripts may be developed in Python which call a custom SDK written in C++ or C# that controls a spectroradiometer.

Requirements

• Have a high level of education in engineering or a related field
• Be familiar with machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Be proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C++
• Have a excellent understanding of software engineering principles and practices
• Working collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision is crucial for effective teamwork.

Compensation and Benefits

• The base pay for this position is $32.00 per hour depending on the geographic region.
