2 nd Shift Production Supervisor

$60k-90k/year plus bonus potential

Aventure Staffing is partnering with a local company who is growing and adding to their team! This is a direct hire opportunity. Our client is looking to fill two 2 nd shift production supervisor positions. As a supervisor you will be responsible for managing plant operations, assigning work, and executing policies and procedures. The supervisor provides leadership and ensures that facilities and processes conform to GMP and FSMA regulations by managing quality systems and documentation.

Responsibilities :

• Communicate job expectations; review associate performance; provide coaching, counseling and disciplinary action, and enforce company policies and procedures.

• Provide employee training and staff development.

• Production planning, scheduling and assigning personnel, monitor production activity, resolve issues, report results and ensure work is completed

• Maintain quality according to company standards

• Monitor and ensure equipment is operating properly, maintain workflow, implement cost reductions

• Maintains safe and clean work environment by communicating to personnel on equipment, resources and company policies and procedures

• Resolve personnel problems, investigate issues, identify solution and recommend action

Requirements :

• 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing

• Working knowledge of BRC, GMP’s, HACCP

• 2+ years of experience managing and leading a team

• Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Bilingual Spanish a plus

• Above average mechanical aptitude

• Strong basic math aptitude

• Experience using Paylocity or other timecard approval system and comfortable performing basic computer skills such as email and MS Office

• Ability to solve problems and work safely in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing processes

Compensation and Benefits :

• $60-90k/year with potential for annual bonus. Pay rate based on experience and skills.
