We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be integral in expanding our custom insurance application to incorporate two new serviceable states and upgrading the application from .NET 4.7 to .NET 8.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the expansion of our custom insurance application to two additional states

• Spearhead the upgrade of our application from .NET 4.7 to .NET 8

• Utilize full stack .NET development skills, including C#, Entity Framework, .NET 4.7, Web APIs, and SQL Server

• Apply experience in API Development, ASP.NET, C# - Sharp, HTML5, CSS, ASP.NET MVC Framework, .NET Core, and Entity Framework

• Ensure smooth transition and upgrade of legacy .NET to versions Core or higher

• Maintain and optimize the performance of the application post-upgrade

• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that might arise during the upgrade process

• Continuously monitor and improve application security

• Work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality software development

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and potential roadblocks.

Requirements • Proficiency in API Development is required.

• Must have experience with ASP.NET.

• Familiarity with C# - Sharp is essential.

• HTML5 skills are necessary.

• Knowledge of CSS is expected.

• Experience with ASP.NET MVC Framework is beneficial.

• Proficiency in .NET Core is required.
