Opportunity Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Test Technician to specialize in testing and validating test systems used in the electronics manufacturing process. As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of our test systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of test systems to guarantee their functionality and adherence to industry standards. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in electronics, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

  • Perform comprehensive testing and validation of test systems used in the electronics manufacturing process.

  • Conduct routine and specialized tests on test systems to ensure their accuracy and reliability.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to develop and improve test procedures and methodologies.

  • Troubleshoot test system issues and identify root causes, working closely with technical teams to implement necessary fixes and improvements.

  • Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure precise measurements and reliable performance of test systems.

  • Record and document test results, failures, and corrective actions taken for future reference.

  • Provide technical support and assistance to the production team in using and understanding the capabilities of test systems.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies relevant to test system testing.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of test systems.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Test Technician, specializing in testing and validating test systems.

  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and testing methodologies.

  • Familiarity with a wide range of test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and data acquisition systems.

  • Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and test system documentation.

  • Experience with test software and programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and quality control processes related to test system testing.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform precise measurements and inspections.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Familiarity with ESD precautions and safe handling of electronic components.
