Teradyne HR Business Partner Manager in North Reading, Massachusetts

In this role you will report to the Senior HR Business Partner Manager of Test and Corporate. You will be a member of the HRBP leadership team as well as a member of the leadership team for each of the respective groups: System Test Group (STG), Integrated System Test (ITS), Semi Finance, and Global Customer Service (GCS).

As an HRBP, you will act as a strategic partner to the business by embedding corporate HR strategy into day-to-day work and providing professional HR guidance and support to the business with the objective of adding value. You will be a thought partner to establish a talent strategy with your business leaders that integrates and leverages our company values and drives a culture in support of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives. You will gain a deep understanding of our business strategies and talent needs and will integrate your knowledge into our culture.

In this position, you will work across a highly global matrixed environment, engaging and aligning with business leaders, HR regional teams in multiple countries, and HR centers of excellence (COE) to identify gaps and opportunities and develop go-forward winning solutions to support business objectives.

What you’ll do as the HR Business Partner for STG, GCS, IST & Finance:

  • Develop and execute global HR strategies aligned with business objectives across diverse geographic locations

  • Align talent acquisition strategies to deliver the forecasted headcount plans of each of the groups; meeting competency, cost, and time requirements

  • Act as trusted advisor and provide expert coaching to the leadership teams you support

  • In collaboration with the senior managers, lead strategy and direct execution for recurring HR processes, including compensation and equity, succession planning, talent management and workforce planning

  • Assess and implement talent programs, organizational design and targeted development for both leadership and key technical talent to meet business growth and succession objectives, in collaboration with the Talent Management COE and Global HR Field team

  • Develop DEI strategy and programs to drive tangible improvements in underrepresented communities, taking into consideration corporate DEI strategy

  • Identify and advise on opportunities, risks and trends related to domestic and international expansion

  • Lead and manage organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and employee engagement

    Position Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 + years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner in fast paced, global organizations

  • Experience supporting senior executive team members in growing organizations at scale

  • Experience in strategic planning, organizational design, and implementation

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with financial goals and constraints

  • Deep knowledge of HR functions (Total rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent M anagement etc.)

  • Experience in managing complex employee relations issues globally, promoting a positive work environment and minimizing legal risks

  • A proven track record of delivering results

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on influence, impact, transparency, collaboration, and cross-cultural awareness

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage complex projects with multiple stake holders in a fast-paced environment

  • Critical thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving and synthesis skills with the ability to influence stakeholders leveraging relevant analytics

  • High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize, without losing sight of mid- and long-term goals

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment across cultures, organizational levels, and functions

  • Consensus building leadership; values the ideas and opinions of others and collects their input as part of decision-making

  • Must be self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Master’s degree in HR or Business is desired but not required

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
