Position: Rework Technician
On-Site Position: Logan, UT
Spartronics is seeking a Rework Technician to join our team in Logan, UT. The Rework Technician modifies and repairs printed circuit assemblies (PCA) to restore original functional use or to meet IPC--610 standards. Your contributions will help us continue our journey towards Winning as One: One company. One team. One purpose. One plan. One culture.
What a Day Looks Like:
- Removes and replaces surface mount and through-hole components
- Removes and replaces leadless devices including ball grid array (BGA) and micro-BGA
- Repairs damaged pads, barrels, and traces
- Repairs customer returns
- Trains others on prevention of damage to PCAs
Requirements:
The experience we're looking for to add to the team:
Education/License/Experience Required
- Vocational/technical degree in electronics
- 1 -- 3 years related work experience
- IPC 7711 and 7721 certifications within 90 days of employment
- Solder to IPC--610 standards
- Basic level computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Operate a microscope
- Identify and rework damage and/or non-conforming issue
- All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. We can not provide sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
Work Schedule
- The planned schedule is a 4-day/10-hour work week.
- Shift 2: Mon - Th 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Shift Differential:
Emplo yees working the second shift will receive an additional $1.50 per hour in addition to their base hourly rate.
Overtime (OT): Employees who work overtime during the second shift will receive an additional $2.25 per hour on top of their base hourly rate.
