Job Summary and Qualifications

As the EVS Floor Technician you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment in our outpatient Surgery Center. We value the contributions of every team member and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

· You will consistently maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environmentby performing specialized cleaning tasks which involve operating heavy duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment such as low and high speed buffers, carpet extractors, upholstery attachments, vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc. Uses a variety of cleaning devices and solutions in performance of job responsibilities.

• You will maintain carpets throughout the facility following appropriate carpet cleaning and maintenance procedures, meeting customers’ expectations.

• You will perform quality hard floor maintenance, including stripping, waxing, and buffing.

• You will provide daily attention to floor care in high visibility areas.

• You will use proper signage to block off areas and use wet floor signs when doing maintenance to ensure a safe environment for our patients and guests.

Qualifications:

· Previous hospital experience preferred.

· Six months experience working in this specialty preferred.
