Salary: Professional Rate per GTA Contract

Report Times: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Daily Hours: 3
Work Year: Summer of 2025
Supervisor: Julie Parsons
Minimum Requirements:
Certified Reading Teacher (must be working in the Reading tenure area)
Experience with Heggerty framework and Kilpatrick assessments
Experience with IRLA, SchoolPace, and RtIM
Meeting or exceeding standards as determined by the Professional Performance Review process
Must be able to participate in the following mandatory sessions:
Summer Program Training - Tuesday, July 1 8:00-3:00
Writing Data/Reports Session - Wednesday, July 23 12:30-3:00
Writing Data/Reports Session - Wednesday, August 13 12:30-2:00
The K-2 Summer Reading Program dates are July 7-August 14, Monday-Thursday
Desired Qualifications:
Orton Gillingham certification is preferred
Experience working with students in grades K-2 is preferred
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Reading instruction for stuggling Kindergarten through second grade students
Daily whole group Heggerty lessons in all K-2 classrooms
