Job Description:

  • Verify quantities and compliance of received materials and properly tag and place materials in their appropriate area per the SOPs for receiving

  • Obtain bulk samples

  • Inspect the transfer hoses and fittings for signs of contamination (Residual product, dirt or debris, unusual odors, etc.)

  • Remove and inspect strainers for particulates or other materials

  • All allergens must be identified; appropriate allergen stickers applied and must be stored in proper locations

  • Complete the receiving form accurately; gather all other paperwork and BOLS

  • Identify, receive and enter Emergency Ingredients following the proper SOP for compliance of proper handling and labeling

  • Maintain an organized and clean work area (warehouse(s), loading dock(s), outside areas) according to the appropriate SOP’s and GMP’s

  • Performs a daily inspection of warehouse facilities to assure cleanliness, organization, proper storage of materials (consolidation of partial pallets of raw materials, like materials on same pallet, FE-FO stock rotation, etc.)

  • Enter and email daily bulk ingredient readings

  • Complete end of month reports

  • Assist procurement with adequate space issues

  • Assist in the Shipping department as needed

  • Removal of expired ingredients from inventory

  • Proper storage and verification of non-inventory items

  • Will assist with inventories as needed

  • Participates on plant teams and committees

  • Adheres to company’s safety, conduct, sanitation, and GMP policies

  • Maintain the Receiving Department to be internal and external audit ready

  • Perform other duties as assigned by plant supervision
