Vineyard: Workers involved in vineyard maintenance may be required to pick up roots and limbs, strip suckers or unwanted growth from vines, remove vines, and strap and tie vines, and removal and replacing wire and posts. Employer will provide all equipment. Instruction will be given for each task and expectations will be communicated to workers. The expectations for these duties will change based on crop and weather conditions. Therefore, workers will be expected to work diligently and prune and/or tie a minimum number of vines per hour which is determined by comparing a worker's hourly productivity to other workers assigned to the same commodity, crop variety, field site and location within a field site and at the time that work is performed. Employer will review workers' productivity at the end of a given pay period and not on a daily basis. If workers fail to keep up with the average minimum standard as defined above, workers may be offered alternate work, if available, or, after notice, workers may be terminated for cause.

Pruning: While pruning vines or canes, workers will receive proper tools for the particular job, i.e., saw, pruners, chain saws, loppers, and hand snips. These tools will be returned to the employer at the end of the task. Workers will be assigned rows of vines and must prune each vine and canes according to the size of the vine and the need for the pruning. Workers must take care not to damage vines that are not being pruned. Workers must prune vines according to the above reference requirements. In some instances, pruning will be done from a ladder weighing up to 30 lbs. All workers must be able to lift and carry ladder, as well as work from the top of the ladder. Workers must remove all resulting materials from the vines rendered from performing pruning tasks. When pruning is complete on each vine, each worker is required to rake and scatter the resulting brush in the center of the tractor/equipment middles. Workers will be required to pick up and return ladders to the designated location as provided by the grower at the end of each workday or as directed by the grower or designated supervisor. BROKEN LADDERS SHOULD NOT BE USED, NOTIFY SUPERVISOR IMMEDIATELY IF A LADDER IS BROKEN. Equipment Operation: Worker may manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Worker may attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, and harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Worker may load containers and products using forklifts. Worker may operate grading and digging equipment. Workers may not operate trucks.

Farm, Field, and Shed Sanitation: All workers will be responsible for picking up trash, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping floors and other farm and shed sanitation duties. The farm owner/supervisor or a designated employee will provide specific instructions and close supervision. Workers will be expected to perform their duties in a timely and proficient manner and will be supervised to insure adherence to instruction. Work will be closely monitored for quality.

Must have 3 months of verifiable equipment operating experience.

Drug Svreening.

Lifting requirement: 50 pounds.

Extensive stooping or bending.

Repetitive movements.
