In the role of Manufacturing Control Network (MCN) Lead, you’ll tackle complex challenges as you develop and diversify your professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills.

The MCN lead is responsible for the Manufacturing Cybersecurity & Resiliency (MCR) program within Operations BTS. This role encompasses four main areas

  • oversees the overall security & resiliency program, inclusive of risk management and mitigation

  • administration of the rotational development program to upskill IT and OT professionals and deploy them as support for cyber hardening efforts at the sites

  • management of the ME&C MCR team

  • stewardship and domain ownership of all security tools and technologies deployed within the MCN from inception to delivery

The MCN Lead will partner with business partners in Operations (ME&C and Quality) and across BTS (infosec, architecture, engineering, and run operations) to promote and improve the security and resiliency of manufacturing operations.

The role frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, external customers, functional peer groups, and executive leadership. Clear communication, strategic thinking, problem solving, and domain expertise in security and manufacturing are key to role success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides cyber security and network resiliency leadership for the entire Manufacturing Plant ecosystem comprising of IT and ICS - Industrial controls System.

  • Manages the Manufacturing Cybersecurity and Resiliency (MCR) team and associated rotation program to accomplishes department objectives by defining objectives, identifying and evaluating trends and options, choosing a course of action, and evaluating outcomes.

  • Acts as a catalyst to drive a culture of change and awareness around network security and resilience via standards, training, administrating the MCR rotation program, and leveraging partnerships across the Plant/Manufacturing, Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering.

  • Defines and manage business centric and adoption score cards to help facility site maturity improvements in partnership with Plant/Manufacturing, Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering.

  • Support the risk management process in the capture, assessment, and prioritization of MCN risks; facilitate risk and remediation plans with the sites and Operations leadership

  • Establishes governance and processes to regularly meet with stakeholders and update requirements, business cases, identify trends and emerging technologies, quantify threats, capture opportunities, and provide briefings to leadership.

  • In partnership with Plant/Manufacturing, Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering, plans, executes, and supports cybersecurity projects in the MCN and plant ecosystem. This includes prioritizing requests, seeking the funding, aligning the stakeholders, developing the success criteria, and measure adoption/maturity improvements.

  • Facilitates and advises on joint Business and IT governance forums to prioritize risks related to the Manufacturing ecosystem.

  • Acts as the main point of contact and coordination for security incidents related to the MCN and support emergency response, root cause analysis, secure remediation, and process improvements to prevent future incidents.

  • Leads the MCR team to identify, define, and implement standard processes, key performance indicators and technologies for the manufacturing locations to ensure cyber security requirements are consistently met.

  • As a key leader, drives a culture of change by identifying security requirements and standards for major systems in acquisition or development to comply with published policy, and oversee the requirement development and design process. Grow and develop a culture of resilience and security at the sites through the MCR team rotational program.

  • Establishes the core competency of the MCR Team through development of cyber security education, training, awareness and real-world experience realized through the MCR development program.

  • Oversees the MCN team focusing on technical issues, including operation, maintenance and engineering tasks across MCN tools & platforms

  • Evaluates the team's work processes and best practices and implement changes to streamline operations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years experience; Master's Degree with 8 years experience; PhD with 4 years experience, preferably in an engineering discipline with systems management experience

  • Experience should also include project management, systems consulting, employee development, and strategic system planning input

  • Information security experience, IT infrastructure project experience

  • Experience building and driving emerging enterprise-wide programs to success

  • Experience reporting to executive management on complex data

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​

Salary: $133,500 - $253,500
