Industrial Maintenance Mechanics in the Richmond, VA area!

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be diagnosing and troubleshooting basic electrical and mechanical problems with machinery and equipment. Your tasks will include performing basic repairs using general maintenance techniques, tools, and skills. You will also perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions including lubricating, aligning, adjusting, and cleaning. Your role will require basic welding for the repair and fabrication of mechanical equipment. You will also work on electrical, hydraulic, PLC, combustion, and pneumatic systems . Reading and understanding schematics/blueprints is a crucial part of your job. This multi-task job function includes assisting mechanics and operators as necessary and monitoring the condition of equipment, making maximum use of planned outages.

Hard Skills

• Experience with mechanical systems

• Experience with electrical systems

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Minor welding

• Minor PLC troubleshooting

• Reading and understanding schematics/blueprints

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Richmond, Virginia.

Work Environment

Shifts vary across day, evening, and overnight; Monday-Friday with overtime on Saturday/Sunday available.
