Cummins Inc. Maintenance Technician (Controls) – 3rd Shift in North Charleston, South Carolina

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician (Controls) – 3rd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in North Charleston, SC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Problem Solving: Your involvement in identifying and reducing manufacturing constraints and improving processes will enhance overall efficiency.

  • Continuous Improvement: Engaging in training and development, as well as participating in continuous improvement activities, will help drive ongoing enhancements in safety, quality, and productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Control Safety : Recognize and manage hazards related to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Incorporate safe practices into your daily work to reduce the risk of injuries and maintain a safe working environment.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

  • High Electrical aptitude with Controls experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens)

  • Ability to work alone with little supervision

  • Understanding of industrial washing and blasting equipment a plus.

  • Understanding of CNC equipment, a plus. (Okuma, Haas, Fanuc)

  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management software also a plus

  • High understanding of electrical principles and troubleshooting methods.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
