Superintendents are responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all construction work activities, assigned employees, and subcontractors on a project job site, to safely produce quality work, within the project requirements (i.e., RFP, plans, specifications, and proposal documents) targeted budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all construction work activities.

• Manage assigned employees and subcontractors on a project job site.

• Ensure all work is performed safely and meets quality standards.

• Adhere to project requirements including RFP, plans, specifications, and proposal documents.

• Maintain project budget and schedule.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years as a superintendent in federal construction.

• Experience in construction, federal construction, and subcontractor management.

• Certifications in EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour.

• Specific software literacy in Primavera, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit.

• Experience in construction management, ground-up projects, supervision, and project scheduling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Five or more years combined experience in the commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer.

• Two years' experience as a QC Manager.

• A current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate.

• RMS/QCS training preferred (training is available).

• Specialty inspection training and licenses/certifications highly desired.

• LEED AP, AP+ or Green Associate (GA) Certificate preferred.

• Training available for Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications.

Work Environment

This position requires working on a project site as a Superintendent. The company is growing with multiple contract awards all over the East Coast. Training is provided for necessary certifications and software literacy.
