Job Summary:

The Shop Operations Team Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily performance of production associates within an assembly manufacturing environment. This role involves actively engaging in problem-solving techniques to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance metrics. The manager will conduct mid-year and full-year talent reviews for direct reports, ensuring that team members receive constructive feedback and development opportunities. Effective communication is essential, as the manager will collaborate with peers, leaders, and direct reports to foster a cohesive and productive work environment. Through strong leadership and a commitment to operational excellence, the Shop Operations Team Manager plays a crucial role in achieving organizational goals.

In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Team Management: Supervise daily activities of the production team, ensuring all members are engaged and productive.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Actively coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and enhance team performance.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required.
