Stark State College Kids' College Instructor in North Canton, Ohio
Stark State is seeking multiple adjuncts, for our Kid's College summer program. We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic teachers to join our kids' camp team. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children, a love for teaching, and a creative approach to making learning fun. Whether you're an expert in a specific subject or have a knack for hands-on activities, we welcome teachers who are excited to inspire and engage campers of all ages. Typical Hours of Work: Stark State College offers most of our Kids' College classes between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday. You must be available for face to face course delivery within these timeframes. This temporary position starts June 2, 2025. Location of Work: Stark State Main Campus in North Canton. Typical Responsibilities Include:Instructors will develop and implement one and one-half hour classes appropriate for elementary and school-age students. Instructors are responsible for engagement of all students in the class as well as attendance and classroom management. Instructors will work with the Kids' College Program Director and Administrative Assistant to request and order materials, complete necessary paperwork, and attend instructor training, as needed (approximately once/year).
