National Inventors Hall of Fame Development Coordinator in North Canton, Ohio

The Development Coordinator is a key member of the National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF) Fundraising team. This position is responsible for leading donor recognition fulfillment by managing donor benefit implementation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure national, regional, and local donors are recognized on all applicable donor benefits materials across all NIHF programs (e.g. posters, marketing packets, T-shirts, brochures, flyers, e-newsletters, e-blasts, social media, website)

  • Manage donor benefits timelines in collaboration with the Marketing, Operations, Warehouse, and Creative teams

  • Work with the Marketing and Creative teams to incorporate donors in all applicable print, online, and electronic communications

  • Determine donor eligibility and secure fundraiser approval for benefits materials

  • Produce donor lists for all print, social, and digital communications

  • Manage the Fundraising team’s annual site visit process and annual report preparation

  • Manage the donor gift acknowledgment process

  • Provide support for scholarship management

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to changing priorities while adhering to deadlines

  • Detail-oriented; strong organizational skills

  • Proven research and analytical capabilities

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven proficiency with MS Office

  • Project management experience

    Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Salesforce or other donor-related database experience is a plus
