Job Title: Kit Packaging Technician I (LMI2101)

Location: North Billerica, MA

Pay Rate: $24/hour

Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Thurs 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM + OT)

Contract to possible perm

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Kit Packaging Technician I to join our team in North Billerica, MA. This entry-level position is ideal for recent college graduates with a degree in bio/biomedical sciences. As a Kit Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for labeling and packaging pharmaceuticals for global distribution, playing a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Education:

  • High School Diploma with 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment, or

  • Associate's Degree in a related field.

  • Recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in bio/biomedical sciences are strongly encouraged to .

  • Experience & Skills:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with cGMP guidelines and a strong commitment to maintaining compliance.

  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical processing, including cGMP issues and specialized processing equipment.

  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment and reacting to short-notice production schedule changes.

  • Proficiency in basic math, science, and computer systems.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

  • Ability to handle material and chemicals safely, following site safety protocols.

  • strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain high standards of work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Labeling & Packaging: Conduct manual labeling and packaging of pharmaceuticals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with manufacturing batch records.

  • Visual Inspection: Perform manual visual inspections of filled vials according to established qualification criteria.

  • SOP Compliance: Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), correctly filling out standardized forms and guiding team members on basic procedures.

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and other internal groups, demonstrating strong listening and writing skills.

  • Decision-Making: Exercise judgment in routine decision-making within established limits, consulting with team members or leaders as necessary.

  • Teamwork: Actively participate in team discussions and support other team members in achieving objectives.

  • Safety: Promote and adhere to safety guidelines, including the proper use of protective equipment, and take initiative in correcting safety and environmental hazards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in improvement projects aimed at minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
