Competitive Wages and Benefits: Company Paid Life, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability Insurances 401k after 1 year with 100% match up to 4% of contribution Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance effective 1st day of employment with option to select High deductible policy with flex spend or HSA Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Responsibilities Sanitation Superintendent responsibilities include but are not limited to: Promoting a Safe Work Environment Assisting in directing, controlling, and coordinating all aspects of sanitation to maximize efficiencies and long and short-term profitability Plays a key role in pre-operation inspections and audits Promoting and developing good relationships and high morale among sanitation employees and supervisors Assisting and guiding supervisors through the Safety investigation/reporting process Maintaining a good working relationship between all company departments as well as USDA Directing the shift to exceed daily goals Understanding and adhering to expectations of the position Oversee small wastewater treatment process Maintain sanitation supplies and chemical Maintaining high Food Safety and Food Quality Standards and adhering to all Food Safety Regulations Understanding and adhering to the following programs Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCPs) Developing and training supervisors and leads Identifying and resolving process issues as they arise Other duties as assigned This is an on-site position. This is a safety sensitive position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Sanitation Superintendent position should possess the following: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience Proven leadership experience in a team environment Staff management experience Basic Computer skills Ability to work successfully in both a team environment and independently Assist in continuous improvement projects Excellent work ethic, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities Ability to make good business decisions quickly Must be able to manage projects to a successful conclusion Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong listening/comprehension skills Ability and desire to stay composed and objective Experience with union a plus Willingness and availability to work any shift Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
