Robert Half Contracts Manager in North Baltimore, Ohio

Description

We are seeking a Contracts Manager. This position can sit be on a mostly remote basis

In this role, you will oversee our company's contracting process, ensuring efficient, thorough, and consistent review, modification, and execution of contracts. You will be instrumental in managing the organization and tracking of all contracts, while also working closely with internal departments and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the review, editing, and negotiation of contracts, purchase orders, change orders, or other customer-facing terms in association with internal departments and Legal.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customer service, managing all customer correspondence relating to the contract process.

• Maintain a well-organized system for tracking all contracts.

• Develop positive and effective business relationships; collaborate closely with internal departments on all contract information for bond applications and Certificates of Insurance.

• Assist the project team with project closeout documentation, change orders, and any process or inquiry that involves the contracting process.

• Conduct postmortem reviews of contracts to identify opportunities to improve and streamline future contract negotiations and processes.

• Perform administrative duties related to the contract process, including maintaining physical and digital records, reviewing contracts to ensure that business terms match the quotes, adding contracts to company systems, and managing the contract electronic mailbox.

• Complete all required or directed training, certification, licensing, and other learning and development as assigned.

• Abide by all Federal, State, and local laws; uphold and maintain accountability to all Company policies.

• Attend program meetings as required.

• Carry out other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance workload.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role or similar position.

• Demonstrable skills in Commercial Contracts, Contracts, Customer Contracts, and Draft Contracts are required.

• Should possess the ability to draft, review, and manage contracts efficiently and effectively.

• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with customers and third-party vendors.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

• Proficiency in using contract management software and other related computer software is necessary.

• Strong understanding and knowledge of contract law and regulations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

• Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret legal documents and language.

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field is required.

• Must exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
