Landpoint Renewables & Utilities Business Development Manager in North America, United States

Job Title: Business Development Manager – Renewables & Utilities 

Department: Sales and Marketing  

Reports To: Director of Business Development 

Location: North America 

The Business Development Manager is responsible for researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities, contacting potential clients, and managing client accounts.  This role plays a critical part in coordinating with company executives and marketing professionals to review current market trends and propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins. 

Key Responsibilities 

Lead Generation and Sales 

  • Generate leads, cultivate relationships, and close deals to expand the customer base. 

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, making data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates. 

Strategic Partnerships 

  • Identify and negotiate partnerships, alliances, and collaborations that drive business growth. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners. 

Customer Relationship Management 

  • Foster long-term customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support. 

  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. 

Management 

  • Maintain CRM database.  

  • Assist in providing information and marketing strategies within the business units 

  • Ensure that all events have necessary supplies and swag 

  • Assist with registering and preparing for corporate events 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. 

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Renewable Energy and Power Generation.  

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. 

  • Proven track record of achieving business growth and revenue targets. 

  • Leadership and strategic planning skills. 

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel. 

The Business Development Manager typically works in an office environment, but the role may require travel for meetings, client visits, and industry events. This position often involves interacting with various departments and external partners.
