DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Certified Peer Specialist, you collaborate with consumers to help identify personal goals for recovery; determine steps to reach recovery goals; and provide an environment of mutual respect, empowerment, and opportunity within the community. In addition, you provide information on public services, educational opportunities, employment/vocational supports, as well as actively listen to and advocate with consumers to recognize their own strengths and recovery options.

Work is performed under the supervision of a Manager within the Social and Rehabilitative Services and evaluated by observation and review of documentation and work outcomes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
