THIS IS A TELECOMMUTER POSITION FOR QUALIFED CANDIDATES LOCATED WITHIN THE COMMUTABLE NORFOLK OR PHILADELPHIA AREAS

A week in the life of a Surface Ship Modernization II Program Manager (Amphibious Ships):

  • Specialize in Financial management and Risk Management

  • Track status of various ongoing initiatives including:

  • Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Modernization Coordination Office

  • Material

  • Modernization-related travel plans

  • Deliverables

  • Action items

  • System safety plans

  • Shipboard Testing

  • Quality Assurance Issues

  • Schedule and Dashboard Development and Maintenance

  • Assisting with Data Calls

  • Provide meeting support

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any technical or managerial discipline

  • Minimum ten (10)years in program/project management to include engineering, financial management, risk management, scheduling, planning and oversight task progress.

  • 5 years of experience in Department of Defense or U.S. Navy programs or operations;

  • This Position requires an active security clearance at the SECRET level.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
