Mölnlycke, a world-leading medical solutions company, is seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to serve as the primary medical/scientific link between our global medical community and the Prevention Patient Journey Area (PJA).

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of clinical practice in wound care and demonstrate proficiency in medical, clinical, and scientific domains related to wound management. This role is pivotal in establishing a deep understanding of the medical landscape concerning wounds and Mölnlycke's products and solutions, ensuring our offerings are scientifically sound and meet the highest standards of clinical care.

What you’ll do:

  • Support cross-functional collaboration within thePrevention Patient Journey Area (PJA)to achieve commercial objectives and advance evidence-based medicine standards to maximize patient outcomes.

  • Ensure all PJA activities and clinical studies are grounded in clinical practice or literature.

  • Provide guidance on the publication strategy for relevant clinical evidence to ensure optimal impact.

  • Maintain high quality and relevance of Market Access and Evidence Plans (MAEPs) throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Manage MAEP implementation by proposing studies to support commercial objectives and clinical claims.

  • Approve study protocols for clinical relevance within the Prevention PJA.

  • Keep the PJA informed of all applicable medical intelligence.

  • Actively develop patient pathways and novel service provision methods for the Prevention PJA.

  • Advise on the generation of post-market clinical data to ensure appropriate design, collection, and analysis.

  • Provide medical input into global clinical study designs and analyses.

  • Contribute medical expertise to the Wound Care Customer Need to Value Process.

  • Review medical accuracy of claims and market messaging in collaboration with general counsel.

  • Approve all Clinical Evaluation Reports (CER), Clinical Investigation Plans (CIP), and Clinical Investigation Reports (CIR) for the Prevention PJA.

    What you’ll need:

  • MD, PT, or RN with at least 5 years’ experience in the medical affairs space, preferably in a wound care environment, or PhD in a relevant subject with at least 7 years’ experience in the medical affairs space.

  • Commercial mindset. Previous experience of cross-functional working

  • Energetic, resourceful, target-oriented, and pragmatic personality who can bring about a mentality change.

  • Well-developed wound care network; Credibility with HCPs and strong relationship builder

  • Confident at external speaking.

  • High level of understanding and analyzing scientific data and publications.
