PruittHealth Broker Relations Representative in NORCROSS, Georgia

JOB PURPOSE:

The Broker Relations Representative will be a high-performing individual contributor who will be responsible for serving as a liaison between PruittHealth Premier and the agents and agencies in the assigned territory. Responsible for daily face to face agent/broker sales calls and monthly training seminars to market PruittHealth Premier D-SNP Medicare products. In addition, the Broker Relations Representative will coordinate, assign and assist in conducting facility and community marketing events, and provider education both in our skilled nursing facilities and in our communities to support our D-SNP as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is considered a work-from-home/traveling position as no formal office space/work location is provided. The Broker Relations Representative conducts the majority of their work within local healthcare insurance agencies, low-income resource agencies, hospitals, primary care physician offices, partner nursing homes, HUD communities, and other medical and social resources for low-income populations in the communities where our D-SNP is offered in the agent’s specific work region.

The following defines the responsibilities of the Broker Relations Representative:

• The Broker Relations Representative will maintain and support all Partner Broker field sales within the market (Individual Agents, and Agencies)

• Execute on sales strategies with downline sales agencies & local direct agencies to drive profitable growth through down-line sales (e.g. educate and expand on MA products)

• Recruit and meet with brokers and agencies to build relationships and promote our brand, and Medicare products in the assigned territory or region.

• Work closely with Operations and sales management to ensure the brokers have clear understanding PruittHealth Premier’s mission, the plan for growth and to provide issue resolution within a timely manner.

• Conduct virtual and field trainings to educate brokers and agencies on PruittHealth Premier’s mission, new product offerings, and sales systems.

• Execute on market/region sales goals and objectives (sales events, training, etc.) Meet or exceed sales objectives through broker channel.

• Develop an ongoing provider engagement strategy to collaborate with external agents and agencies and other strategic opportunities for partnership with external agents.

• Achieve established enrollment goals for external agents/agencies

• Adheres to and maintains current understanding of compliance requirements and organizational policies & procedures

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• HS Diploma and substantial insurance sales experience; Bachelors Degree preferred;

• Active Georgia Health Insurance License;

• Strong technology skills to connect with potential members/families interested in enrolling

• Ability to maintain health insurance licensure and Continuing Education Requirements set forth by licensing state;

• Comfortable/patient in communicating via web-based video platforms;

• Assertive self-starter who is able to influence others;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with abilities to deliver presentations in an impactful manner;

• Effective in a variety of communication settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels

• Proven ability to work independently and productively.

• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products;

• Substantial sales experience;

• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and/or nursing community dynamics.

• Demonstrate compliance with CMS regulations regarding Medicare Advantage Plans and PruittHealth Code of Conduct.

• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to work independently as well as with a team.

• Exceptional organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages;

• Willingness and ability to travel to facilities within your assigned region; have dependable transportation, a current driver’s license, a clean driving record, and proof of insurance;

• Have suitable home workspace allowing for productive office environment.

• Understands the PruittHealth Premier Plan benefits, PruittHealth Premier Plan policies, procedures and articulate them effectively to providers, potential members and key decisions makers.

• Complete annual Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse Training and Model of Care Training

• Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Requires a high school diploma

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

2 years health insurance sales experience preferred.

2+ years of outside sales and marketing experience required, with strong preference for candidates with previous experience in Medicare or healthcare sales and engagement.

Good communication skills and organizational skills needed.

Ability to professionally present plan benefits and financial information

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Active and current life and health Insurance license in good standing required or is required to be obtained and appointed within sixty (60) days of hire. Testing may be required to qualify for this position.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

AHIP Certification and Licensed to sell Life and Health insurance in required states to act as an enrollment agent if necessary. (prefer they have this upon hire)
