Trane is seeking an Associate Project Manager for project management responsibilities associated with Helmer Scientific temperature-controlled storage business and any other associated businesses, with the Life Science Solutions (LSS) business unit. As an Associate Project Manager, you will support the LSS PMO team through management of small, routine projects at Trane Life Science Solutions.

In this role, you are primarily responsible for leading and coordinating small internal projects and teams. Responsible for tracking and monitoring project status, schedule, and deliverables, and investigating and escalating issues as appropriate.

Where is the work:

This position will work onsite in Noblesville, IN.

*What you will do:  *

• Lead and coordinate small, internal project teams according to best practices of project management body of knowledge

• Plan and lead internal project team meetings, in-person and virtually

• Support deliverables and tasks on other larger, cross-functional projects in the business, as required.

• Track and monitor project status, project schedule, project budget and all project deliverables

• Ensure effective verbal and written communication regarding key project objectives, schedules, and risk with internal stakeholders

• Monitor potential implementation project risks, opportunities, and issues that may impact the project. Investigate and escalate issues as appropriate.

• Plan and coordinate Gate Review Meetings, in alignment with PMO team

What you will bring:

• Minimum of 1+ year of previous experience leading and/or supporting project teams

• Proficiency in computer applications including industry-related software and tools including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams

• Motivated self-starter with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Compensation: *  *

Base Salary range for $60,000 - $80,000
