Job Description
This position provides strategy and direction to build and maintain relationships, manage operations, and monitor and improve key performance indicators for the college's Perkins V Grant, K-12 partnerships, College in the High School Program (CHS), Online College in the High School (OCHS), and Post Secondary Enrollment Opportunities (PSEO).
Conduct internal and external outreach to build and maintain strong relationships and articulations between Northland and K-12 partners in support of Northland's missions and strategic planning.
Serve as a project director for the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) Grant.
Develop events and coordinate activities with all appropriate stake holders, improve student success, and strengthen communication with internal and external partners using effective practice models.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor Degree
Experience with grants
Familiarity with the role and purpose of Career and Technical Education
Experience with educational organizations/institutions
Evidence of a skill set sufficient to maintain strong working relationships across internal and external partnerships.
Preferred Qualification
Experience managing a large, federal grant
Experience working in a two-year college setting
Experience in designing early credit opportunities with secondary partners
Experience with concurrent enrollment deploying NACEP Standards
Experience with Perkins V, formally known as Carl Perkins Grant, activities.
Other Requirements
- This person will work directly with the secondary Director of the Pine to Prairie Consortium, along with faculty in career programs, secondary, school teachers, administrators and Staff to partner on student transition related work.
