Als Verkoopmedewerker Sales bij GWK Travelex op de locatie Schiphol verkoop je verschillende diensten en producten aan onze klanten gerelateerd aan vreemde valuta en zorg je dat de klanttevredenheid zo goed mogelijk is.

• Het betreft een functie van 27 - 36 uur per week. De werkdagen zijn maandag t/m zondag tussen 06.00 en 22.00 uur. Op Schiphol hebben we diensten van 9 uur, bij een fulltime contract werk je dan 4 dagen.

• Het betreft in eerste instantie een tijdelijke functie, met de mogelijkheid tot verlenging.

Wat ga je doen?

• Het onderhouden en vormen van relaties met klanten om een beter inzicht te krijgen in hun reis- en valutavereisten en vervolgens hun ervaring af te stemmen op hun bestemming;

• Jezelf vestigen als een ambassadeur voor reisgeld en hun vertrouwde adviseur, die ondersteuning en advies biedt over geweldige Travelex-producten en -diensten;

• Samenwerken met klanten om alle valutatransacties nauwkeurig en efficiënt te verwerken;

• Het behalen van belangrijke prestatiedoelen, zowel procedureel, operationeel als klantgericht;

• Gebruik maken van jouw scherpe oog voor detail om dagelijkse online bestellingen en leveringen te verwerken;

• Het implementeren van best practice wet- en regelgeving en het naleven van Travelex compliance procedures.

Ben jij de nieuwe collega die?

• Vloeiend Engels en Nederlands spreekt (minimaal niveau C1)

• Numeriek vaardig is. Je moet een goed begrip van cijfers hebben, aangezien je dagelijks grote hoeveelheden contant geld zult verwerken en grote hoeveelheden valuta zult omrekenen;

• Kritisch is op transacties die door jouw handen gaan?

• Hands-on mentaliteit heeft met een brede lach op je gezicht?

• De rust behoud met ongeduldige klanten?

• Flexibel is en graag werkt voor een internationale organisatie?

• Commerciële vaardigheden heeft en omzet laat exploderen?

Hoe ziet het sollicitatieproces eruit?

• Stap 1 - Onze HR afdeling zal jouw sollicitatie beoordelen en contact met jou opnemen als zij denken dat jouw ervaring past bij de functie en een eerste screeninggesprek voeren.

• Stap 2 - Je wordt uitgenodigd voor een persoonlijk gesprek op de locatie. Tijdens dit gesprek geven we je meer inzicht in Travelex en de rol en komen we wat meer over je te weten.

• Stap 3 – Een "testdag". Je krijgt de mogelijkheid om te zien wat het werken achter de balie inhoudt. Aangezien je regelmatig met enorme hoeveelheden geld werkt, zal er ook een kleine rekentest zijn, die je zult voltooien.

• Stap 4 – Als dit positief is, nemen we contact op en bieden we de mogelijkheid om bij Travelex te komen werken als onze nieuwste medewerker. What does the application process look like?

Step 1 - Our HR department will review your application and contact you if they believe your experience is appropriate for the position and conduct an initial screening interview.

Step 2 - You will be invited for a personal interview at the location. During this conversation we will give you more insight into Travelex and the role and we will find out a little more about you.

Step 3 – A “test day”. You will have the opportunity to see what working behind the counter entails. Since you will be working with huge amounts of money on a regular basis, there will also be a small math test, which you will complete.

Step 4 – If this is positive, we will contact you and offer the opportunity to join Travelex as our newest employee. If it is ultimately unsuccessful, we will of course also contact you and explain why we choose not to offer you a job at this time.
