Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies in the Naval Acquisition Development Program (NADP) with Naval Information Warfare Systems Command. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will develop, determines and interpret budgetary policies and practices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develop recommendations to improve financial management operations; 2) Monitor programs to ensure compliance with financial management policies and procedures; and 3) Advise personnel on financial programs, policies and procedures OR have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled OR have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develop financial reports on program to submit to management; 2) Utilize financial system to input information; and 3) Gather financial data to retrieve the status of programs, policies and procedures OR have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education OR have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement OR have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
