Security Officer - Glen Eddy - Niskayuna - Per Diem - Mixed Shifts

What you will do:

Our security team provides for a safe, secure environment for residents, employees, and visitors. The Security Guard position responds to both medical and fire alarms, as well as other resident requests. This position provides concierge and general customer service to residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Job duties to include but not limited to answering resident calls, fire alarms, and minor maintenance issues throughout the campus.

  • Completing daily round and being able to push or pull 50 lbs along with standing for long periods of time are minimum requirements.

What you will need:

  • NYS Security License

  • High school Diploma or GED required

  • Current Training Certificate.

  • Valid NYS Driver's License

  • Basic computer skills, good oral, interpersonal skills and written communications which will allow you to document investigative activities.

Pay Range: $18.50 - $25.00

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
